Small Uptown law Firm seeking full time Litigation Paralegal. 2-4 years litigation experience required. Our firms' practice is mostly personal injury defense and commercial litigation.Qualified candidates will possess the following:• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.• Detail oriented• Professional, dependable & punctual• Reside 20mi. or less from 75219• Possess strong work ethic• Positive attitude• Exceed clients' expectations• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Excellent phone skills• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to operate basic office equipment• Ability to docket and meet deadlines • Ability to answer discovery requests• Ability to multi-task and learn new tasks quickly• Ability to follow instructions• Non-smoker Job Responsibilities:• Prepare discovery requests• Answer discovery requests• Summarize deposition testimony and medical records• Schedule mediations & depositions with opposing counsels• Schedule hearings with the court on various motions• Docket discovery deadlinesHours are Mon-Fri. 8-5.
